Daniel “Dan” Harris grew up mostly in New England. He graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1990. Dan graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1994. In law school, he focused on courses concerning domestic violence, including participating in the Domestic Violence Clinic and doing an Independent Study in Violence in Relationships.
In 1996 Dan and his wife relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada of all places. After working at a law firm for several years, Dan went out as a solo practitioner. Dan’s practice concentrated on Family Law/Domestic Relations. He found himself very attuned to this area of law because it provided the opportunity to appeal to his natural compassion. Additionally, being a child of a messy divorce gave Dan a natural empathy toward people going through it. Dan’s goal was to provide both Compassionate Care, and an Honest and Realistic Assessment of the person’s case.
During the summer of 2011, Dan and his family relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since that time Dan has been mostly focused on practicing Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor Law, while still providing compassionate care and an Honest and Realistic Assessment of the person’s case.
Dan is very excited about joining We Care Legal Services, and getting back into Family Law/Domestic Relations, as well as continuing to practice Bankruptcy. Dan is actively licensed to practice before the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
